"China international battery technology exchange conference/exhibition(CIBF)"is an international meeting of battery industry sponsored by China chemical and physical power industry association,which is held every two years in China.Following the May 24~26,2016 in shenzhen convention and exhibition center successfully hosted the"the 12th China international battery technology exchange meeting/exhibition(CIBF2016)",China's chemical and physical power industry association is scheduled for May 22~24,2018 continue to be held in shenzhen on an unprecedented scale"the 13th China international battery technology exchange meeting/exhibition(CIBF2018)".The third China energy storage technology and applications exhibition will be held at the same time.CIBF2018 includes:exhibitions,technical exchanges and buyers'fairs.The exhibition covers an area of 110,000 square meters,with more than 1,200 exhibitors,more than 4,800 booths,and more than 60,000 visitors expected.

　　Since CIBF2016,China's new energy vehicles and lithium ion batteries have made a leap forward.In 2016,China's new energy vehicles reached 500,000 and lithium ion batteries reached 30GWh.Despite the adjustment of subsidies for new energy vehicles by the Chinese government in 2017,the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China reached 794,000 and 777,000,respectively,up 53.8 percent and 53.4 percent year-on-year.According to the statistical analysis of China chemical and physical power industry association,the sales revenue of lithium ion batteries in China reached 158.9 billion yuan in 2017,compared with 133 billion yuan in 2016,an increase of 19.5%year-on-year.Production of lithium-ion batteries increased from 87.3 gigawatt hours to 100.9 gigawatt hours,up 15.6 percent year-on-year.This is mainly due to the rapid development of China's new energy vehicle battery and energy storage battery market.In 2017,the supporting capacity of new energy vehicle power batteries reached 37.06 billion WH,of which the supporting capacity of passenger cars reached 13.98 billion WH,accounting for 37.72%.Passenger car supporting capacity is 14.57 billion Wh,accounting for 39.31%;The supporting capacity of special vehicles is 8.51 billion Wh,accounting for 22.95%.Especially with the change of market demand and the development of battery technology,ternary battery with high energy density has come from behind and gradually occupied the leading position in the new energy passenger vehicle market.The proportion of ternary power batteries increased significantly in 2017,from 20.4 percent in 2016 to 44.8 percent in 2017.The new version of subsidy adjustment policy takes energy density as the standard as the adjustment coefficient of subsidy level,which drives the proportion of ternary power battery to rise sharply.

　　In the technology roadmap of key areas of made in China 2025,the development target of new energy automobiles power battery is put forward.In 2020,the energy of the new lithium ion power battery should reach 300wh/kg,and in 2025,the energy of the power battery will reach 400wh/kg,and the cost of the system will be reduced to 1 yuan/wh.In order to achieve the above objectives,while strengthening the implementation of the optimization of existing lithium ion battery technology with high safety and high specific energy,we are also accelerating the innovative research on new battery key materials with higher specific characteristics,such as anode and cathode,and new battery system(including all-solid battery).In addition,the domestic and foreign countries have also begun to pay attention to the development and application of fuel cell electric vehicle technology,and the Chinese government has increased the subsidies for the introduction of such new energy vehicles,in order to promote the breakthrough of China's fuel cell and other key technologies.
